James Kay & Mike Sowden
James Kay was born in Blackburn, Lancashire in 1950. He still keeps and cherishes his Blackburn accent. At the age of 40 James discovered a passion for theatre. He trained as an actor and since then has performed many times on Wirral and Liverpool stages. He has a particular interest in Shakespeare although he enjoys all good drama. His favourite roles have included Alfieri in A View From the Bridge, Mr Bennet in Pride and Prejudice, Sir Robert Morton in The Winslow Boy, Sir Toby Belch in 12th Night, Sir John Falstaff in The Merry Wives of Windsor and Shylock in the The Merchant of Venice in Frankby's Royden Park in 2013, Arthur Winslow in The Winslow Boy, Gladstone Theatre in 2014.
James wants the 'Theatre and the Arts' show delivered together with Mike Sowden on Monday evenings from 8.00pm till 10.00pm to become a showcase for all things theatrical and artistic within reach of Wirral residents. They will be introducing guests doing exciting things for the Wirral community.
